Living Walls
I love when houses have ivy crawling up the sides of them. I "stumbleuponed" a picture of an interior vertical garden and got really excited. After researching vertical gardens I found Green Over Grey Living Walls and Designs. Most companies that make vertical wall gardens do so by using multiple modular boxes. Green Over Grey uses a different approach and imitates ivy walls, providing water and nutrients at the base instead of multiple spots attached throughout the wall. That is really neat and is totally different. I would just be worried about keeping up with it. I would be afraid that I would kill the plants. But it looks really cool.
ReplyDeleteI agree they are probably really expensive to keep up too. You would probably have to be really dedicated to taking care of it and really like plants...A dead wall would not be so pretty
DeleteThough i think it looks pretty cool I have to admit the idea of that being in my own home creeps me out. I just see it as a breeding ground for bugs and other unwanted critters to hide in. Just my thoughts i guess.
